APPEARANCES AND VISITS

K. Ancrum is available to visit high schools, and universities within the Chicago city limits. All requests outside of Chicago must be virtual. 

Types of Visits: 

•  A reading and Q+A for your class.
•  A lecture style class on publishing and book writing as a career.
•  Conducting a writing workshop with your creative writing students.
•  Attending a panel with other authors your school or library has constructed.

Do my students have to have read your book?

Nope! Students do not have to have read any K. Ancrum books, however some familiarity would definitely enhance the visit. You can absolutely book K. Ancrum to speak exclusively about the publishing industry and writing as a career, without the inclusion of discussion about current works and their content.

Honorarium:

K. Ancrum has a flat honorarium minimum of $250 per visit. She is empathetic towards the cost/availability of authors in the educational space, particularly for small rural high schools. If this is unaffordable for you and you believe you may have special circumstances, please include this in your initial contact email and we will try to be accommodating.
